It was easy. I have enjoyed trying the different types of more eco-friendly detergents. They tend to be lightweight pods, powder, or sheets that have been convenient to use. I hate having to deal with the large, liquid detergent bottles.

I love loose leaf tea and use it often. I have always enjoyed drinking it and trying out new blends and flavors. Loose leaf teas can be more flavorful, too!

To freshen up my mouth when I can't brush. I could use mints or natural chewing gum that doesn't contain plastic.

I have noticed how much unnecessary packaging there is when shopping. I try to opt for as little packaging as possible, but it can sometimes be hard to avoid. I really don't like waste.

Decreasing plastic consumption. It's also usually cheaper to just refill existing containers and much less wasteful. That makes me feel much better about my attempts to use less plastic. I also enjoy using bar soap and bar shampoos and conditioners. My daughter loves using them as well.

I think it's a convenience thing as well, but it's just as easy to purchase refills. The reusable razors are much better quality and less likely to cause cuts and irritation.
