I think how much we use cars! I understand that it's a necessity these days, but there are other ways (walking, riding a bike, etc.) for people that live closer, in order to save that bit of Co2 going into the air :)

It's so much easier using bags I've already bought, i.e. tote bags etc., to store groceries when shopping. That way, I'm helping the environment and don't have a massive storage of plastic bags. This was semi-difficult, because sometimes I'd forget to bring a bag with me, but I tried my best!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Kitchen
Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?

It's very rare I use single-use plastics in the kitchen! I've always found that putting leftovers in glass bowls/dishes tastes better when heated up anyway, and I'll use my glass takeaway containers I bought from Amazon to bring food for lunch :)

Thrifting is a great way to cater a more creative and unique style, as you are actively looking at a variety of clothes where nothing is the same. Also, when purchasing second hand, it invites you to take more risks with DIYing, such as cutting something to suit your style, dying or sewing.
