REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenHave you noticed a shift in your community as more messaging about reusable straws becomes mainstream? Cite some examples.
Shadae Wright 7/03/2023 11:00 AMI have seen a significant improvement in my community in relation to straws as the reusable straw becomes a "trend". Companies have began to make different designs of straws to make them more appealing to buyers. As a possible result, I've seen a lot less straws lying on the ground. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenSince the restrictions that COVID-19 has required of our society, trying to use your own cup might present new barriers, as well as new opportunities for creative problem solving. How were you able to achieve success on this action? How can you make it a long-term habit?
Shadae Wright 7/03/2023 10:53 AMUsing your own cup eliminates more risks of transmitting illness' or diseases. We can make this a long term habit by creating a routine to make sure we have our own cups and prioritizing our health by doing so. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenHow do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
Shadae Wright 7/02/2023 7:34 AMcooking & being involved in food prep makes me very happy because I love the kitchen environment and watching meals come together. A major benefit is being able to make your meals how you want to and guarantee that your food is being cooked to your standards. -
