My son made me eat my lunch sauce free because the only condiments available were single-use packets. Dyl, Thanks for keeping me on track. :)

With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

The amount of single-use plastics seems to be ever-changing. A pasta shell brand with a plastic window removed the window, and now months later, they went from a cardboard box without a window to now being sold in a plastic bag. Now I need to buy my pasta shells at Walmart; they package their brand in a cardboard box with no plastic.

Picking up litter shows pride in where you live and makes it a better place for people and the wildlife.

I had to stop by a gas station for a drink.....I took a moment to consider my options and I chose a can instead of a bottle. Sounds like an obvious choice but I still have to stop and think about my choices. I even said no to a freshly baked brownie because it was wrapped in plastic wrap. Small changes can make a difference.
