REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenHow do you feel about being more involved in the food preparation process? Joyful, overwhelmed, engaged, empowered? What are the benefits of choosing to process or produce your own food instead of buying it pre-processed?
Aimee Reilly 7/05/2023 5:37 AMI'm really enjoying learning different pickling processes and making my own giardiniera. I saw a recipe yesterday for pickled iceberg lettuce and that is next on my list to try! I like having more control over ingredient quality, added salt, and more, not to mention it's kind of neat to make things "from scratch." It comes with a feeling of accomplishment.
