REFLECTION QUESTIONBedroomHow can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?
Shelley Orloski 7/14/2023 1:21 PMI can be me by shopping thrift and looking for the items I want. I just need to be intentional and patient to find just the right look. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONStudyWhat did you learn about how plastic production impacts humans, animals, communities, and the environment? Which of these impacts specifically affects your community?
Shelley Orloski 7/10/2023 11:28 AMPlastic production impacts every aspect of our lives. It is important to find better ways of recycling the plastic that already exists. We need to stop making new plastic and find a better more sustainable solution. The best one right now is not to purchase single-use plastic and let companies know why you are making the choice not to purchase their products. Money talks, let it work for us instead of against us. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONStudyHow has learning about the history of single-use plastic shifted your mindset on plastics and their function within society?
Shelley Orloski 7/10/2023 7:32 AMLearned more about the history of plastic today. It is frustrating that big corporations determine what is "best" for us. Good thing we can show them they are wrong based on the items we CHOOSE to purchase. Make your money count! -
