Sue's actions
Kitchen
Use Reusable Utensils
I will keep 1 plastic cutlery out of the landfill per day by using my own reusable cutlery.
Study
Numbers Everywhere
The numbers #1-7 on plastics tell us a lot - and can help us be better recyclers. I will learn what these numbers mean and which types of plastics are accepted for recycling in my area.
Kitchen
Choose Reusable Food Storage
I will only use reusable containers instead of single-use plastic storage items (such as plastic wrap, single-use sandwich bags).
Family + Pets
Using Biodegradable Material
I use biodegradable bags to collect my dogs' waste. This eliminates at least a dozen plastic bags per week ending up in the landfill.

Sue Browning 7/07/2023 1:05 PMWhile I do sometimes use plastic sandwich bags for plain bread slices or buns in my husband's lunch, he saves them and brings them home so they can be reused. Any bag used for bread can be reused many times. -
