REFLECTION QUESTIONBedroomOften, single-use and disposable products don't just create more trash - they also contain toxins that are bad for humans. What are some other single-use items that are harmful to humans?

REFLECTION QUESTIONBathroomCurrently most of the packaging for toothpaste is plastic. How can you advocate for more alternatives through your purchasing power and influence in community?
Erika Murphy 7/25/2023 9:06 AMMoney is powerful, and how you choose to spend it (and on what) will tell the business what's important. If your local shop carry plastic free options, ask to speak to the leadership and see if you can get more in! If you're on the more social side, interact with people when you're in the aisle! Bite Toothpaste tabs are a personal favorite- all natural, zero waste and vegan friendly. -

Erika Murphy 7/25/2023 9:03 AMTampons are expensive and wasteful! A cup is a safe, cost-friendly and environmentally-friendly alternative; and gives many piece of mind against leaks -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBathroomDo some research on the toxic side affects of aluminum deodorant. After reading the side effects, can you think of instances where you may have experienced the side effects from this form of deodorant?

Erika Murphy 7/20/2023 6:43 PMIn order to preserve freshness, the amount of plastic used for packaging in grocery stores is significant. Personally, I think produce tastes much better when you buy it whole and cut it up yourself! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBathroomEven though they are marketed as "flushable," disposable wipes do not disintegrate in water or the sewer system, and actually release microplastics into our waterways. How does it feel to learn this information? What do you want to do about it?
