I will only use reusable containers instead of single-use plastic storage items (such as plastic wrap, single-use sandwich bags).

Wipes don't break down in sewer systems, but combine with fat to create massive clogs. I will find alternatives to using disposable wipes.

I will make the switch to sustainable, reusable period products.

I will use laundry detergent that is packaged in glass or aluminum, or an alternative like soap nuts.

When it's time to buy more, I will replace my beauty products with refillable, sustainable, and/or DIY options.

Only buy new clothing on rare, specific occasions, when an appropriate item cannot be found from Goodwill or hand-me-downs. I do buy new underwear and shoes but only when the old ones are worn out. Simple, acceptable clothing is highest priority, more important than changing fashions. I chose this action because textiles don't recycle and it does not make sense to change styles/think about clothing due to marketing or peer pressure ( I do, however, try to look neat and not attract attention due to odd clothing. Clothes have to fit properly, but I usually find good options). I have been wearing the same 4 sets of hospital scrubs for 5 years and spend less than $200/year on clothes.
