The shift to using reusable straws in my community is obvious as many local restaurants no longer offer plastic straws, and I see many reusable straw options shopping in-store and online. It is a positive change that I am happy to see.

I know restaurants that offer alternatives as well as several where straws are by request only. I love the shift!

In what ways is supplying your pet with all natural pet toys better for your pet, better for you, and better for the environment?

I made frozen dog treats for my two pups. By making my own treats I could know exactly what my dogs were eating and avoid giving them any harmful additives or preservatives that go into prepackaged ones. I also helped the environment by not needing to throw away packaging, and by not supporting companies that use harmful pesticides to produce their ingredients.

Although I am a little late to the game, I am happy to be officially starting my 2023 ecochallenge today! I have helped recruit some of my family members and friends to join in too!
