I do enjoy cooking but sometimes don’t have the bandwidth with work/life. We’ve been really focusing on local, in season, from farms near us when able as well as having some meal ideas that can come together quickly but aren’t prepackaged. It always feels good to make or grow something!

What did you learn about your ecological footprint by using the calculator? What did or didn't surprise you? What are some ways you will take action to reduce your footprint?

I was sad to see how high my footprint is! Even though it is lower than the average for the US, we still have a lot of work to do to improve our impact.
