With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

There seem to be a lot of various plastics that aren't necessary. I purchased some reusable bags in different sizes to replace using the produce bags from the store, but so many items are wrapped and double-wrapped in too much plastic.

How does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?

Usually I am picking up trash as I walk my dogs around the neighborhood. I see neighbors out and about and keep up with changes going on in the area. It gives me pride to have a cleaner environment for all of us.
