What is the benefit of using bar soaps or refilling your travel sized containers? Is this an action you think you will keep in your life?

TSA does not get upset about bars of soap or solid shampoo. They also do not make a mess in my luggage. I will continue doing this in the future.

I had never thought about this before, only by using the small travel bottles. I've thought about doing bars of soap to help, but that I know this, I'll be doing this myself and even encourage my family to do so.

Beyond reducing waste, there are many benefits to packing zero waste lunches (for kids or yourself!). What other benefits have you noticed from this practice?

I tend to pack healthier lunches when I can't have chips or something in plastic bags. Also, reusable forks just work better.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Bathroom
Even though they are marketed as "flushable," disposable wipes do not disintegrate in water or the sewer system, and actually release microplastics into our waterways. How does it feel to learn this information? What do you want to do about it?

I may have to purchase a bidet.

It is difficult but freeing in some ways. I finally found a solid shampoo I like.
