Choose Reusable Food Storage

When possible, I will not use disposable bags when shopping, including produce bags.

Sarah Brown 7/24/2023 2:19 PMI’m proud of how far I’ve come in reducing plastics to keep our planet clean! I can’t wait until the Baltimore County bag ban takes effect this fall. It will be great to not have to say No Bag at stores all the time. -
Sarah Brown 7/20/2023 10:05 AMI'm so glad I bought a re-usable K-cup. I hated buying expensive K-cups just to throw away all that plastic. Now I just fill the reusable K-cup with whatever coffee I like and dump the grounds after I'm finished. It's much cheaper, environmentally friendly, and easy as well. -
Sarah Brown 7/16/2023 9:15 AMI've made good progress in reducing plastics in my kitchen, but all my toiletries in the bathroom is still a challenge. I will try one new product that reduces plastics in my bathroom this month.-
Mary Bronson 7/16/2023 5:41 PMYou are becoming more aware of the impact of plastic on the environment so you are making great progress, one step at a time.

REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenHow difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?
Sarah Brown 7/09/2023 6:16 PMOne way i reduced my use of plastic bags was to shop at the farmers market. The produce I bought was not wrapped in plastic and I put int all in a reusable bag! -
Sarah Brown 7/05/2023 5:10 AMI chose a reusable container for a salad I brought to a party. Unfortunately the top to my container was misplaced and I did have to use plastic wrap to cover it for the way home. I still will continue to chose reusable any time I can.
