REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily + PetsDoes making your own pet food seem like a habit you can keep up in the long term? What else can you do to reduce your use of plastic packaging that can come from taking care of your pet's needs?

REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenHow difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?
Neca Alves 7/13/2023 9:34 AMI have reusable totes and produce bags. The difficult part is that the reusable produce bags have a tare and most market cashiers do not bother entering, so I usually pay a bit more per weight of the produce. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenBeyond reducing waste, there are many benefits to packing zero waste lunches (for kids or yourself!). What other benefits have you noticed from this practice?
Neca Alves 7/05/2023 3:09 PMBy packaging my lunches on reusable glass "Tupperware", not only I don't create waste, but I also do not heat up my food on plastic containers that can leach into your food. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONKitchenDo an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?
